By the lake, at the edge of the valley, waiting for the storm. Landscape painting.

This work was created during my artist residency in Orta San Giulio, on the shores of Lake Orta. It was a place where I went surfing, explored the mountains and created a series of landscapes in acrylic on paper.

The expressive style was exactly what I needed at that moment: to feel and to create. The atmosphere of the landscape lies in its warmth, its rain-soaked character and the vibrant colours of the valley. It is a fertile landscape that invites joy, connection and unexpected encounters—and that is exactly what it gave me.
