A small oil painting, a house-like form almost hidden in the landscape. In “Shelter”, colour, texture and movement gather around a form that remains quietly present.
Wakesurfing, wind, sudden storms and a lake that refused to sit still. The story behind my Lago d’Orta series, from the first painting after wakesurfing to increasingly layered and unruly landscapes.
Who started the fire? A studio note about “Firestarter”, a painting from my Dreamland series. A dark figure, a small glowing house and a story I prefer not to explain too precisely.
I thought I needed to join an artists’ collective. But between galleries, exhibitions, Paris and my own studio, I began to wonder whether the connections I was looking for were already there. And whether I really needed another newsletter.
