We love the land, the water, the mountains, and the classical buildings that Orta San Giulio offers us. Seeing friends, sharing surf advice, practicing, painting, and exploring each other more deeply. A wonderful time.
Family memories
The beauty of this place has truly inspired us in countless ways. We can’t wait to return and create even more unforgettable memories. We also love having all our children here, as we have built many family memories over the years and wish them even more beautiful experiences in this special place.
My husband has been coming here for over 20 years; he’s a wonderful captain and speaks more and more Italian each time. Throughout the year, we travel from the warmth of the Mediterranean to the cold of Iceland. Eating ice at Pella Italië and at Reycjavik. We also cherish our own country. All these beautiful memories are stored in our hearts, making memories.
He plasters, I paint. Together we travel through landscapes and layers, with lime on his hands and paint on mine.
I am not the only artistic one at home
The rhythm of the waves
Spending summers around Lake Orta brings a completely different rhythm to my days. I love to wake surf during the day, playing with the water and the speed, and then spend the quiet evenings painting in my temporary studio.
