Hopefully, at the very least, plenty of snow in the coming days.
Beyond that, I am planning ahead, with a focus on suitable gallery contacts, Kunstmaand Ameland and Kunstmoment Diepenheim. Both are curated art events in the Netherlands. Exciting, but finding the right fit matters.
Last year, we had an excellent experience during Kunstschouw Zeeland. I want to build further on that.
New projects and France
Together with Karin Melis, I am writing an art project plan that lies close to my heart. (I can hardly work any other way.) And for both my own art practice and for the students, I will be getting acquainted with l’Atelier Neerlandais in France.
France already holds a story for me through my family history, so that connects naturally.
Iceland keeps pulling me back
This year, I want to give the Icelandic Houses series a strong and coherent place. An embassy, perhaps?
